After two years of working in the private sector for a Fortune 500 company, I made the big decision to switch careers. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher, I just never knew when or how I would be able to make it happen. So here I am now, in my first class in a new program with a whole new outlook on life. I must admit, I feel intimidated, overwhelmed, eager, and extremely excited all at the same time.
I'm curious to know how you are feeling about the program so far. Any others out there career switchers? How are you dealing with the change? Any words of wisdom for a new-comer to education like me?
